Overview : This study aimed to verify the principle of needle tip detection and optimal measurement conditions for vertical puncture which punctures in the direction of ultrasonic wave transmission while observing the needle tip.
A puncture spacer was used to detect the needle tip at short distances.
The needle tip can be detected by the leakage of the ultrasound-guided wave generated inside the needle tip.
